Chagford is a village on the Eastern edge of Dartmoor, in South West Devon.

Use the M5 motorway connection down to Exeter. From there, you take the A30 dual-carriageway Exit South to the A382, signposted Moretonhampstead.

From the South, join the A382, from the A38 near Newton Abbott.

After about three miles, turn right for Chagford.

Entering the village you will come to the main square. Mill Street is the right turn.

Parking in the evening is easy. Take any space in the street outside. But during the day you should use the car park. This is about 400m away off the High Street. When you enter the Square turn left, rather than right, into the High Street and the car park is a short way down on the left.
