This bijou two AA Rosseted restaurant with rooms is tucked away
in a very unassuming spot off the high street in Chagford.
Nestling in the foothills of the Dartmoor National Park, we are
beautifully located with far reaching views up to the North East Side of
the moor. Ensuring that you can not help but get outside to admire the
rusty tint of the moorland as it climes up towards the torrs.

Chagford is a village on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, with easy access
from Exeter, Plymouth, Tavistock and Okehampton. It is a small intimate
restaurant seating 26 and very personal. We offer two private dining rooms for
groups of 6 - 12, The Moors offers private dining for 6 - 12 people or The
Green for parties of 6.
22 Mill Street Restaurant opens for dinner Tuesday
- Saturday and lunch Tuesday - Sunday. There is a fixed-price menu
offering five choices per course, and a six-course set menu without
choice. The restaurant cooking, for want of a better term, is a Modern
European.
It is based on fresh ingredients and sound technique, served in an
informal atmosphere. Michelin, the Good Food Guide and Harden's Restaurant Guide have
been favourable.
Above the restaurant, there are also two guest rooms, with en-suite
facilities.

- Open for lunch 12.00 - 14.15 Wednesday to Saturday
- Open for dinner 19.00 - 21.30 Wednesday to Saturday
- Closed Bank Holiday Mondays, but open on the Sunday
preceding.
- Dinner menu, option one: A choice of five dishes for each
course. Two courses, £36.00, Three courses £42.00.
- Dinner menu, option two: A fixed no-choice seven-course
option, plus coffee and petit fours, £50.00
- Lunch menu: choice of two dishes per course. Two courses,
£14.95, three courses, £19.95.
- Vegetarian menu options available. Please call for more information.
- A small wine list of about 60 wines, centered around
smaller, artisan producers.
- Four interesting house reds and four house whites at £19.50 per
bottle, from £5 per glass.
- Two en-suite guest rooms priced from £99 per room, per
night, including a light continental breakfast. Prices exclude
