Fantastic place, a real jewel in the South West, can't wait to come back!
22 Mill Street is one of the best experiences I have had in any hotel. Both Ashley are Carla are fantastic and take care of you as if you are family and not just guests.
The accommodation is unreservedly clean with cosy, well stocked rooms. A lot of big hotels could learn a lot from coming to stay here for a night both around the little touches in the room (loose leaf tea etc) and just how to make people feel welcome and comfortable.
The real icing on the cake is the food, Ashley is an extremely talented chef and his food is amazing! If you want a real gastronomic experience take the money you would spend on many "top tier" eateries and get yourself to Mill Street!
For the cost of a meal in a one of London's celebrity eateries you can get a far better meal and a great night sleep, I know what I will be doing from now on when good food is needed.. and that is going Chagford Bound!
I genuinely cant recommend this place enough and both my partner and I cant wait to be able to slip away again to hide from the world in such a completely brilliant place!
