22 Mill St we are passionate about real food. We take the best of what we have to offer locally, give it some time and skill from our talented chefs and produce the wonderful food you will taste in our restaurant.

Our ethos is based around:

Primary use of local suppliers and producers (low food miles)
Menus using Seasonal ingredients (no asparagus in January)
Championing Organic and fresh, local produce
Embracing the ethics of the Slow Food movement
All dishes made on the premises from raw ingredients

We believe that good food takes time, some times a little effort and a flair for bringing out natural flavours. Our chefs are making their own bread by hand each morning, churning their butter, and curing the ham to ensure that what we have to offer is the best we can offer you.

We were made to feel very welcome at 22 Mill Street and would like to thank everyone for making it such a pleasent stay. The food was excellent! It was so relaxing after our hectic wedding week. The room was well decorated and "spacious" as it was advertised as and had a wonderful plasma screen TV and view over the bowling green. We booked our break with meals included which made it a reasonable price for a treat . As this is a restaurant "With Rooms" there is no public bar but the staff are only too happy to provide what you need. Try their sister restaurant, Brown's at Tavistock.
