The Menus

22 Mill Street Restaurant with Rooms are pleased to offer three dinner menu options.

Lovingly restored and converted into a restaurant, the light and airy feel combines contemporary décor with a country house character within its delightful village setting.

Tucked away off the high street the oak floorboards, whitewashed walls, with well spaced wooden tables creates a warm, classic and stylish setting to enjoy local seasonal produce.
There’s a delightful cobbled courtyard for summer drinks too.

The Menus

  • Option 1: The Main Menu

    Option 1: The Main Menu gives you a choice of three dishes for each course. The choice changes frequently, to reflect great seasonal produce using locally sourced meat, fish, game, fruit and vegetables, fresh and good. The whole menu changes completely every six - eight weeks with the seasons.

    Lamb rump, baby onions, carrot & garlic

    Dark chocolate fondant, yoghurt, pistachio

    Banana bread, caramel, peanut

    Cheesecake mousse, strawberries, vanilla

  • Option 2: The Tasting Menu

    Option 2: The Tasting menu is a fixed no-choice five-courses menu. @ £69.00

    The Taster allows you to sample a wonderful array of food on offer at 22 Mill Street. The menu is designed to allow our guests to sample the favoured, delectable dishes from the menu. Due to the style of this menu it must be chosen by the entire party.

Superb food. Friendly unpretentious service. Highly Recommended. Ate in the restaurant and stayed overnight as a package deal to include three course dinner and continental breakfast. The chef and his wife , were both charming and although they had only been on-site for a couple of weeks seemed very organised and the fact they lived on the premises made it more welcoming. Chantel was a great front of house asset and David's cooking was some of the best we've tasted. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend eating here.
